Vladimir Starikov (born December 29, 1952, Kharkov, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) is an artist, educator, book illustrator, and poet. He writes in Russian.
Born into a family of civil servants, he worked as a graphic designer and a carpenter-modeler.
For more than a quarter of a century, Starikov taught at the Kharkov Art School.
His works are kept in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Germany, Israel, Italy, and the USA. Notably, they are included in the collection of the Zimmerli Art Museum, USA.

In 1982, he graduated from the Kharkov Art Industrial Institute; from 1982 to 2010, he taught at the Kharkov State Art School. Since 1995, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. His major works include the graphic series called "Legend" (1975–1977), "My Tree," "Shadow of the Square" (both 1994), and "The Way Back" (1995)

He participated in the book-exhibition "White verses to Pushkin" (1999) and the poetic anthology "Freed Ulysses" (2004).

He is the co-founder (together with a poet and artist Nina Vinogradova) of the self-made small-run book art publishing house SVinX. His short prose, poetry, and graphics have been published in magazines such as "Children of Ra," "Union of Writers," "Kreschatik", and the newspaper "Humanitarian Fund."
